Wednesday is my son’s first day back to school after the summer.  Now I need to figure out what the heck I’m going to do with all of my days.

Day 4 of the great tea cleanse, and Day 1 was by far the worst.  The only thing bothering me now is that I should have checked my calendar to see when I was going to start my period before I did this.  Like I said before, I could kill for a Reese’s.

Headaches, which used to be a constant issue, are almost completely gone.  Weight is starting to come off.  Energy is slowly coming back.  I just ordered some yoga DVDs and all of the goodies that go with it (mat, blocks, straps).

I am SO looking forward to being back to my healthy, energetic self, hopefully, by the end of the year.  I want to go on 25 mile bike rides with my family again.  I want to have the energy to be the best mom, wife, person I can be.  I want to teach the kids how to be healthy BY EXAMPLE! I want to be around for as long as I possible can, because I really have everything that I could ask for - the best partner, cool-ass son, beautiful step-daughter, goofy dog.  All the bills are paid and, sometimes, there’s even enough money left to do a little something fun with the kids.

Now, off to the grocery store to fill the cupboards to fill them with healthy goodness.
